London police officer charged with seven counts of rape

A British police officer has been charged with seven counts of rape.

Pc Michael Graham (47), who works in the London borough of Hounslow, was arrested at home earlier this month and has been suspended, Scotland Yard confirmed.

Graham is charged with seven counts of rape and one count of assault which are alleged to have taken place between December 24th 2013 and September 2nd 2014.

He was arrested while off duty on October 6th.

Officers in the sexual offences exploitation and child abuse unit are investigating Graham, who is said to have been off duty when the alleged offences were committed.
