Nothing Phone 2: brighter, bigger and more functional than before

The bigger 6.7-inch screen is great for taking shots on the upgraded 50 megapixel main camera

It is hard to stand out in the smartphone market these days, particularly in the mid-range market. The newest addition to Carl Pei’s Nothing line-up, the Nothing Phone (2), may just achieve that, thanks to the Glyph interface.

The LED lights on the rear, first seen on the Nothing Phone 1, allow you to keep an eye on your phone without actually having to keep an eye on your phone. You can concentrate on the people you are with rather than notifications, by assigning different light patterns to contacts and notifications so when your phone lights up, you’ll know why even if it is face down.

The Nothing Phone 2 brings brighter and more LEDs than before; rather than a novelty, it feels like a more functional part of the phone. The Nothing Phone 2 comes in 256GB and 512GB versions, and has a bigger 6.7 inch screen, which is great for taking shots on the upgraded 50 megapixel main camera.
