Fujifilm Instax Square SQ40: A bigger film format so you squeeze more in

Automatic exposure feature enables you to get the best photos possible even if you are an instant camera beginner

€150

Fujifilm has added another camera to its Instax range, with the Square SQ40 joining the line-up. If it looks a bit familiar, it should. The SQ40 is a square-format version of the previously released Instax 40, which looks like a classic camera but with the added bonus of instant photos.

The Square SQ40 uses the bigger film format so you squeeze more in. It also has an automatic exposure function to adjust the shutter speed and flash to the level of ambient light in the scene, so you get the best photos possible even if you are a beginner at instant camera shooting.

The Selfie Mode is back – twist the lens to activate it – and it is also handy for close-ups. Beware of trying to capture fast-moving subjects, such as pets or small children; you could waste quite a few instant film shots before you get it right.
