Eddie Rocket’s launches faster fast food brand

Rocket’s will serve ‘bubble dogs’ and mini hamburgers as part of chain’s plan to grow to 100 outlets

Fast-food chain Eddie Rocket’s is to create 50 new jobs with the launch of its new faster “Rocket’s” outlet, part of a plan to triple the number of restaurants the company operates by 2018.

The chain has already opened an outlet of Rocket’s in the IFSC, with another to open in Jervis Shopping Centre later this week. Similar to Eddie Rocket’s main restaurants, Rocket’s promises a faster dining experience and will serve typical fare such as hamburgers, chicken tenders and burgers, milkshakes, malts and fries but will also include made-to-order salads and combinations such as Bubble dog (hot-dog and prosecco), Egg E Muffins and mini hamburgers.

Niall Fortune, owner of Eddie Rocket's Ireland, said that Rocket's will be "a faster way" to eat, with new menu options and classics thrown in".

“ Sometimes our customers don’t necessarily have the time to dine in at one of our Eddie Rocket’s restaurants so a trip to Rocket’s gives them the opportunity to still enjoy our offering but in a faster setting, be it lunch time, pre-concert or for a shopping pit-stop,” he said.
